Macbeths attempt to resist the urge to satisfy his desires of killing King Duncan are being overridden by his mind which is encouraging him to take hold of this ‘dagger’ and proceed with his ……this internal conflict Macbeth’s mind is encouraging him to kill King Duncan, however, he is trying to resist the temptation.
